Shipping and Returns

General Delivery Policy

 

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 business days after receipt of payment and are shipped via NZ post without tracking but with signature. If you prefer delivery by any other courier or service an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before completing the order.

Shipping fees, handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are Free of charge, Nevertheless we advise you to group your items in one order so that we can offer you a discount on the total price.

We cannot group two distinct orders placed separate.

Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

 

I wish to buy a POA item? 
If you wish to purchase any price on application item please contact us and we will be more than happy to give you a price.

All credit card transactions are charged in NZ Dollars,

When purchasing items from powerinverter.co.nz you may choose from one of several purchasing options.

You may purchase with your credit card using our secure web payment form, pay by cheque or bank transfer.

What happens if you are unable to supply an item(s) for some reason ? 

In the unlikely event we are unable to supply an item we will refund the payment made for the item(s) that are not available as soon as is possible.

What do I do if my Items are damaged?

We are committed to providing quality equipment to you. You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving a damaged item as the couriers have a very short period in which we can claim for damage.

 

What happens if an item is faulty. 

If you think an item is faulty you should contact us by phone or email, many problems can be solved this way, often perceived problems are just a case of changing a setting. If we ask you to return something for testing or servicing you will need to cover the freight cost back to us,  warranty is return to base.


What do I do if my Items are lost by the Courier?

Please use our Contact Page (link below page) to contact us before taking any action and we will do our best to either find your lost order or we will post it again if it returned.

What do I do if I wish to return an Item?

You can return unused unopened items only.

 

No monetary refunds will be given, only a credit.  Items must be sent back to us within 14 days of receipt with proof of purchase. Credit Notes are not redeemable for cash and can only be used to purchase products from the http://www.powerinverter.co.nz website.

 

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. Before returning items we require that you contact us to discuss the details.

Where do you ship to and what do you charge for shipping & handling?

We only ship to physical addresses within New Zealand Main Land (not PO Boxs). It is your responsibility to provide a correct delivery address.

 

If you wish to use a courier then please contact us in advance for a quote.

 

New Zealand shipping/packaging is Free of Charge but we reserve the right to request delivery costs from you if the delivery to your address is much higher than usual.

 

How long will my order take to arrive?

We will ship your items as soon as possible, this is generally the next working day after the order is placed, however please call us if you order is urgent so we can give you specific advice on shipping times. Generally North Island orders will arrive the next day after shipping and South Island orders take one - two days. 

 

If there is a significant delay with a particular item we will most often have an alternative available and will inform you of lead times and alternatives.

 

Because we do not directly control all the delivery chain, we cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the target delivery times. We do not pay compensation for any delay in the delivery of your item.
